Beautiful!
Did you know 250,000 bicycles are stolen a year? I looked that up just to scare you.

Beautiful bike! Great colors, I'm very jealous. Especially since it weights about 1/2 of what my shitheap steel 70s road bike weights! Mind me asking the total cost?
(however, living in SF, I can only ride bikes I don't care about being stolen).

If this bike gets stolen I think I might have an emotional breakdown...

I honestly don't know how much it costs because costs kept adding on top of other costs and I just lost count. I think $1700 is a safe guess.

That's why I'd be too scared to go through all of the hardship and dedication of building such a beautiful, perfect-for-me custom bike like that.

Well this is not commuting bike, it's like a Ferrari, you only take it out for drives on nice days and you rarely leave it alone.

Lol, I hate that. I redid the suspension on my motorcycle, which was a real hodge-podge job. When somebody asked me how much it cost, I just shrugged. Half the cost was getting the right tools to do the job!

17.5 pounds?? O.o thats 4 pounds less then my single speed..granted, its a factory built single speed, but still O.o also, just find a lock with a good theft insurance price, if they have one that goes high enough for your bike :) then buy another so you can lock both wheels to frame, and the frame/a tire to..a solid object, lol
